Position Title: Accounts Specialist

Epoch Concepts LLC (Epoch) has been providing Market Research, Enterprise IT, and Cyber Security Products and Services to both commercial and government clients since 2006. Epoch primarily focuses on providing comprehensive IT solutions comprised of products and services to the United States Government (USG) community.

Based in Highlands Ranch, CO, Epoch works closely with industry leading IT OEMs, focusing on Federal Systems Integrators, USG and commercial customers. The Accounts Specialist’s role is responsible for performing clerical, financial, and administrative services in an office environment, maintaining a professional image with integrity and passion. This position will work directly with the Operations team.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Posting transactions, as well as tracking outgoing payments and obligations

• Preparing customer statements, bills and invoices, reconciling expenses, sending weekly invoice reports to management reports

• Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances

• Paying vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal ID numbers, scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments.

• Verifying vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions

• Protecting organization’s value by keeping information confidential

• Helping coordinate events (marketing/company)

• Participating in a variety of financial activities through AP/AR (create reports, fill out tax forms, track orders, communicate with distributors and customers, data entry, etc.)

• Stock office supplies

• Welcome guests and prepare conference room

• Coordinate catering for meetings

• Responsible for faxes and mail

• Deposit checks at bank
